Accounting Department- Volunteers are needed to help do routine accounting functions and work on special projects.

Friend in deed volunteer- For volunteers who would like to offer their serviced to our clients by providing social interaction and mentoring. This opportunity will offer great personal satisfaction as you become a “friend” to our clients.

Fundraising- like all not for profits we need help with fundraising ideas and carrying them out.

Music Program- music is the universal language. Lead the clients in music or preform for them.

For Interims of Practicum Students

Accounting Internships- students interested in accounting or finance will find this position to be of great interest. It offers real world experience.

Grant writing- students pursuing degrees in Journalism, English or Liberal Arts will learn a great deal about the fundamentals of grant writing in securing funding for vital programs essential Yarmouth Life Skills. Use the internet to research grants, organise the research, accumulate data, identify grantors and establish relationships with them and submit grants.

Direct Care Work- if you are pursuing a degree in social work or in a human services field, you will be enhancing your education by working directly with our clients in our setting. You will be required to shadow the staff to ensure you’re prepared to handle the various demands of this rewarding work.
