End of employability

On October 10th, we celebrated the end of our Employability Program.  After three long years, we watched as our people collected their certificates on stage, completing a full and complete program.  Although we are sad to see the program end, we are excited to say that they are ready to enter the work force.

Yarmouth Life Skills will still offer support, and welcome in new and returning participants, but due to funding, we cannot continue with the Employability Program, at this time. Our participants accepted their certificates with smiles on their faces, and a renewed confidence in themselves.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed in many ways and helped us make these last three years possible. You have made a difference in many lives. Out of the five participants, who received certificates, one is already working, two visited employers and handed out resumes and four are working with Nova Scotia works, directly, to find employment.
