With this past rememberance day the we here at YLS did our part to show respect for the heroes of the past by first making then bringing a rememberance day cross to the cenotaph for our own rememberance day service there.
We took our time to remember all those who have been affected by war both past and present. The participants each learning about different often forgotten groups of war such as women in war and animals in war. The participants also learned about the history of Flanders Fields. They seemed interested in the pome and really interested in the origins of the pome. All and all a really good reminder for the participants and us.
