YLS celebrates International Women’s Day by raising awareness about women for our participants.

We do presentations, activities, and work to empower so participants can feel positive about women and women’s milestones through history.

This day is especially important for our female participants, as they face challenges as women with disabilities that often are unseen or overlooked. YLS provides education on this day to help our female participants feel valued and important. Focusing on the positive and inspirational, International Women’s Day provides the perfect opportunity to enhance the lives of our participants while celebrating diversity and inclusion.
